    As far as I know they were never not speaking to each other. Denny left Wings because in the wake of John Lennon’s death Paul was afraid to tour lest he be shot, and Denny wanted to tour. I think a Wings reunion would be a bit forced now simply be.

Later Paul got miffed because after he and Denny parted, the Laines sold some gossip to the tabloids or similar, or maybe it was just Jo Jo Laine, Denny's wife that did that.
